Guanzon and Padilla have been exchanging comments against each other on social media.

The rift between Guanzon and Padilla started following discussions on what happened to one of the country’s heroes, Andres Bonifacio.

According to Padilla, Bonifacio is a victim of “EJK” or extrajudicial killing which prompted Guanzon to react by announcing that she will not vote for Padilla in the coming May 9, 2022 election.

The action star will run for senator under the PDP-Laban faction led by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi.

The actor replied that he doesn’t need a vote coming from the retired Comelec commissioner.

This time, Guanzon criticized Padilla after the latter defended himself against those questioning his mental readiness if ever he secured a spot in the Senate.

Padilla said he doesn’t know how to “steal” the government’s money.

“Kapag sinasabi nilang wala tayong alam, tunay wala po tayong alam sa pagnanakaw. Hindi po iyan ang kaso ko. Ang kaso ko ay puro pag-ibig lamang,” he said in an interview.

Rowena Guanzon reacted to his statement, telling Robin Padilla that he has a low IQ.

“Ang kaso, low IQ ka robin Doby!” she said.

Padilla has yet to respond to the latest tired of Guanzon against him.

To recall, it was on February 2 when Guazon retired from her post as Comelec commissioner.

Days before her retirement, she made a buzz for notably presiding over the disqualification case filed against presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos. At the time, she publicly named fellow commissioner Aimee Ferolino as “the one delaying the decision in favor of Marcos”.
