RITA AVILA – The actress went to social media wherein she expressed her disappointment to those who are still criticizing former Vice President Leni Robredo and her NGO, Angat Buhay.

Avila is a critically acclaimed actress who rose to fame in the movies; Stella Magtanggol, Tatlo, Magkasalo, and The Flor Contemplacion Story.

She started her television career on GMA Network as part of That’s Entertainment before transferring to ABS-CBN in 1995.

in 2001, Avila returned to GMA-7 and stayed there for nine years before going freelance.

Rita Avila is also a proud Kakampink, one of the supporters of former Vice President Leni Robredo.

Recently, she went to social media wherein she expressed her disappointment to those who are still criticizing Robredo and the non-government organization called Angat Buhay.

In her Instagram post, Avila shared a photo of Robredo. It was accompanied by her message to the critics of the former vice president.

As expected, her post was flooded with mixed reactions from her followers. Most of them are agreeing in her opinion.

It can be recalled that Angat Buhay had been accused of allying with the members of a communist group.

“The people behind the Angat Buhay is CPP-NPA-NDF. In fact, they are now on social media, mga nanay na naghahanap ng mga anak nila, na wala na, wala na, hindi na nila makita, at ito ‘yung mga sumali ng Leni Youth,” said former NTF-ELCAC spokesperson Lorraine Badoy.
