Viral video of Pia Hontiveros wherein she kept on denying she’s her sister Risa
PIA HONTIVEROS – A video of the renowned broadcast journalist wherein she was mistaken as her Senator Risa is making rounds online.
Pia whose real name is Ana Patricia Hontiveros-Pagkalinawan is a broadcast journalist.
She is the Chief Correspondent for CNN Philippines. She’s also the anchor of the network’s flagship newscast News Night, and the host of the weekly political talk show Politics As Usual and to name a few.
She once worked on ABS-CBN as a correspondent for the ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) from 1996 to 2011 at the same time as a reporter from 1989-1996.
Pia is the sister of Senator Risa Hontiveros. She is also the cousin of the 80’s pop singer, Leah Navarro, and singer Barbie Almalbis.
Currently, Pia Hontiveros is making rounds online following a video of her wherein she’s denying that she’s her sister Risa.
In the video, the broadcaster can be seen having a chitchat with a female netizen.
She then asked the girl if she knew her. The girl replied claiming that she was Senator Risa.
Pia Hontiveros, on the other hand, told the woman that she’s not Sen. Risa.
Eventually, the woman was able to identify that she was indeed not the senator.
She went on to apologize to Pia while laughing.
Another woman entered the scene to confirm that she was Pia and not Risa.
