Here’s the opinion of GMA-7 writer Suzette Doctolero about the finale of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano

SUZETTE DOCTOLERO – The GMA-7 writer gave her opinion about the finale of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Ang Probinsyano is an action-drama series based on the 1997 film of the same name starring Fernando Poe Jr.

It first aired on September 28, 2015, and has become the longest-running drama series on Philippine television with more than 1,500 episodes as of posting.

It premieres on Kapamilya Channel, Cine Mo!, Jeepney TV, A2Z and TV5. The series is also streamed online via iWantTFC, TFC IPTV and Kapamilya Online Live. It is also aired internationally through The Filipino Channel on cable and satellite.

It starred some of the famous actors in the country including late actress and FJP’s wife, Susan Roces.

Finally, after almost seven years, the top-rating series is coming to an end.

Coco Martin himself that the series is down to its last three weeks at the end of the July 22 episode.

Mars Ravelo’s Darna will replace FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano this coming August 15, 2022.

Meanwhile, GMA-7 writer Suzette Doctolero gave her opinion about the finale of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

In a comment, Doctolero compared Ang Probinsyano with GMA-7 fantasy series, Encantadia.

She also accused Ang Probinsyano of “nanloloko” every time it announce it was ending the show when in fact it will continue airing.

Doctolero also noted that the show is not the longest series as of press time, rather Daisy Siete that aired for seven (7) years.

FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano has yet to make a comment on the statement of the GMA-7 writer.
