Dawn Chang: “Mag-aral ng kasaysayan, para may tamang ambag sa lipunan”
DAWN CHANG – The Kapamilya star went to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein she posted a statement that others claimed a “patama” to Ella Cruz.
Dawn rose to fame when she joined the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother. She won as the fourth placer in PBB: 737.
After her PBB stint, she ventured into showbiz and became part of an all-female dancing group, GirlTrends.
Recently, she went to Twitter wherein she posted a statement about history.
Some netizens claimed that she might be chiding actress Ella Cruz in her post.
Here’s the statement of Dawn Chang about history:
Ella is currently making rounds online following her “history is like tsismis” remark when asked what she learned with her role in the drama-comedy film Maid in Malacañang
Ella Cruz stars as Irene Marcos in the said movie which tells the story of the last 72 hours of the Marcos family in the Palace.
Aside from Ella, also joining the ensemble of Maid in Malacañang are Cesar Montano as former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., Diego Loyzaga as President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Cristine Reyes as Senator Imee Marcos, and Ruffa Gutierrez as Imelda Romualdez Marcos.
“History is like tsismis. It is filtered and dagdag na rin, so, hindi natin alam what is the real history. Andoon na iyong idea, pero may mga bias talaga,” she said in an interview.
A lot of showbiz personalities have given their reaction to her statement.
Ella has yet to issue any statement to explain or apologize for her remark.
