CRISTINE REYES – The actress talked about the pressure she feels in playing the role of Sen. Imee Marcos in the upcoming movie, Maid in Malacañang.

Cristine who real name is Ara Cristine Pascual Klenk is an actress, model, dancer and endorser.

Her showbiz career started when she became a contestant on GMA Network’s reality TV program, StarStruck.

Eventually, she landed into acting. Her breakthrough was via debut film “No Other Woman” starring Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay.

When ABS-CBN shut down in 2020, she decided to return to GMA-7 after 12 years.

Meanwhile, Cristine Reyes talked about playing the role of Sen. Imee Marcos in the upcoming movie “Maid in Malacañang”.

In the recent zoom media conference of the movie directed by Darryl Yap, she shared that portraying the role of Imee has a lot of pressure.

“Ang laki ng pressure parang ito ‘yung project ko na mabigat. Ang bigat ng bitbit ko at nu’ng binasa ko ‘yung script talagang minamadali ko ‘yung handler ko, ‘please, please ibigay n’yo na ang script sa akin kasi hindi biro ‘tong gagawin ko, eh,” she said.

Aside from Cristine Reyes, also joining the ensemble of Maid in Malacañang are Cesar Montano as former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., Diego Loyzaga as incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Ella Cruz as Irene Marcos, and Ruffa Gutierrez as Imelda Romualdez Marcos.

While those who will portray as house helpers of the Marcos family are Elizabeth Oropesa as Yaya Lucy, Beverly Salviejo as Yaya Biday and Karla Estrada as Yaya Santa.
