Did you know Martin Nievera is a DDS?
MARTIN NIEVERA – Dubbed the Concert King, the singer-songwriter is one of the diehard supporters of outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte known as DDS.
Martin is a Filipino-American singer and television host.
In his career spanning more than three decades, Nievera has garnered eighteen platinum, five double platinum, three triple platinum, and one quadruple platinum album.
He is often referred to in the Philippines as the “Concert King”.
He also ventured into acting. He has appeared in eleven films, and seven television series and specials. Nievera’s film credits include dramas, romance, science fiction, comedy, and action.
Nievera was one of the celebrities who performed in the thanksgiving concert for President Duterte, which is netizens were surprised that he’s actually a DDS.
Diehard Duterte Supporters (DDS) is a name adopted by political hardliners who support the 16th president of the Philippines. The term was popularized during the 2016 presidential elections.
During the thanksgiving concert for President Duterte, Martin Nievera expressed his gratitude to the outgoing president.
“Maraming maraming salamat Pangulong Duterte sa inyong dedication and service for the country,” he said at the concert.

Aside from Martin Nievera, among those who performed at the said concert are renowned artists such as; Andrew E, Chad Borja, Dulce, Florante, Freddie Aguilar, Ice Seguerra, Isay Alvarez, Jimmy Bondoc, Jed Madela, Moymoy Palaboy, Robert Sena and the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra.
Meanwhile, Duterte’s term will end this coming June 30. President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will take over his post.
