Dubbed “Salamat PPRD”, the thanksgiving concert was highlighted by a drone show featuring President Duterte’s face and his fist symbol. The said concert was organized by President Duterte’s supporters.

There’s no stopping thousands of his supporters from flocking to the venue despite the rain.

President Duterte joined in singing “Fill the World with Love” being performed by a group of doctors and medical frontliners on stage during the said event. The said event concluded with the outgoing President taking the microphone anew to sing his favorite song “Ikaw”.

With only a few days left before his term ends, the outgoing President thanked the Filipino public for their support.

Maiksi lang po. Sa sambayanang Pilipino, maraming-maraming salamat sa inyo,” the President told the crowd at the Quirino Grandstand on Sunday.

The outgoing President was accompanied by his common-law wife Honeylet Avanceña. Senator Bong Go, Senator Imee Marcos, and some of his cabinet members were also present at the said event.

President Duterte will end his term on June 30, 2022.

Meanwhile, the outgoing President said during the awarding of Madayaw Residences Units in Davao City last June 23 that he’s ready to face charges filed against him before the International Criminal Court (ICC) in connection with his war on drugs.

He also urged the International Criminal Court to stop threatening to probe the alleged crimes against humanity committed during his administration.

Ang ICC, nakikinig man kayo, huwag na kayong mag-drama ng idemanda-idemanda niyo,” he said at that time.
