Mariel Padilla shared her photos with PRRD
Celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla expressed her gratitude to outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte through her recent Instagram post.
This coming June 30, the term of PRRD will officially end. He will pass the presidency to President-elect Bongbong Marcos, the running mate of his daughter Vice President-elect Sara Duterte.
An event was organized on June 26 as a “pasasalamat” to President Duterte’s service to the nation. In her recent IG post, Mariel Padilla also shared her “pasasalamat.” Her husband, Senator-elect Robin Padilla, has been a supporter of the Duterte administration since day one and it has continued until now.
“Through the years!!! Maraming maraming salamat PRRD!!!” Mariel wrote in the caption of her post on the photo-sharing social media platform. She also shared her wish for the outgoing President. “My wish for you is you is after your presidency, the next chapter of your life will be peaceful, worry-free, healthy and happy. You deserve it po,” the wife Robin said.
Several netizens who commented on the post of Mariel also thanked the President. There were even those who said that PRRD is the best president. Some netizens from Davao also expressed excitement for the coming home of the President to his hometown where he served several years as Mayor.
Meanwhile, Mariel has been very supportive of her husband’s political career as well. She used her physical and financial strength in campaigning for Robin during the election season. The former Pinoy Big Brother host is optimistic that her husband will do a great job as a senator. Apparently, this is the reason why she was hurt when people would say that Robin Padilla is unqualified to be a lawmaker.
