Xian Lim and Kim Chiu went on their 1st movie date since the start of the pandemic.
KIMXI — Actor Xian Lim and actress-host Kim Chiu returned to the cinema for a movie date for the 1st time since the start of the pandemic.
On her Instagram Stories, Kim posted a photo of her and her longtime boyfriend inside the movie theater and shared that they went to the cinema to watch “Top Gun: Maverick” starring Tom Cruise.
According to her, it’s their first time to watch the film inside the movie house after two years. She went on to share her reaction after watching the Hollywood movie.
“First time inside the movie house after 2 years! Grabe TOP GUN really made me cry! Ang GANDA!!! Medyo OA ako pero yeah! Nakaka-iyak! Ang galing nila lahat! Tom Cruise is TOM CRUISE!!!” she wrote.

Dubbed “KimXi”, the two just recently went on their first outside-of-the-country trip since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 as they went to Thailand during the Holy Week break last April and got to explore Bangkok, Phuket, and Koh Phi Phi Islands together.
At that time, the actress said that the trip marks her first time to go out of the Philippines since the start of the pandemic but it was not her first time visiting Thailand as she went to the country last 2019 along with her sister Lakam Chiu.
The two have been dating since 2012, but it was only last 2018 when Kim finally admitted her relationship with Xian, following years-long speculation surrounding the real score between the two of them.
