Robredo is the 16th Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines.

She previously ran for the highest post in the country but lost to incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

On the other hand, presidential daughter and incoming Vice President Sara Duterte will take over her position.

After some time, Robredo said that she’s planning to continue the Angat Buhay program of her office thru an NGO or non-government organization.

In the June 12 episode of her radio program, BISErbisyong Leni, Robredo and her co-host Ely Saludar had a short discussion about NGO.

“Ma’am, linawin natin ano ang ibig sabihin ng NGO?” Saludar asked.

To which she responded: “Hahahaha! Non-government.. non-government association.”

Her co-host immediately corrected her mistake saying that NGO stands for “non-government organization.”

Her mistake earned reactions from the netizens.

“I don’t want to criticize mrs robredo but she always makes herself into something that we don’t expect who she really are.. Sometimes we do or say wrong. But consistency. Good to your journey mrs robredo,” said a certain Rhamz Ortsac.

“Huwag nyo na kasi tanungin. Hayan na stress pa kayo sa sagot,” Penny Taylor noted.

Meanwhile, Robredo called on various groups not to start fundraising for their NGO because it has not been formally established.

Amid the launching of Angat Buhay NGO, Robredo announced that she’s stepping down as the chairwoman of the Liberal Party.
