During a recent episode of It’s Showtime, Vhong Navarro teased Ruffa Gutierrez with her ex-boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz
VHONG NAVARRO – The It’s Showtime host couldn’t help but tease Ruffa Gutierrez with her ex-boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz.
In the live telecast of It’s Showtime on Friday, June 24, Ruffa celebrated her 48th birthday.
Ruffa is one of the judge on It’s Showtime segment while Vhong is one of the main hosts of the Kapamilya noontime show.
“Dahil birthday mo, Ruffa, may babatiin din ako na nagbi-birthday din ngayon,” Vhong said.
Ruffa then asked: “Sino?!”
“Happy birthday kay John Lloyd Cruz!” Vhong said in jest.
John Lloyd Cruz, who’s celebrating his 39th birthday at the time, is a known ex-boyfriend of Ruffa.
Then, Ogie Alcasid butt in on their conversation.
It can be recalled that it was in 2009 when John Lloyd and Ruffa got linked. Both are stars of I Love Betty La Fea, the Pinoy remake of a Mexicanovela starring Bea Alonzo.
Eventually, their relationship became serious but they tried to keep it a secret.
However, in February 2010 the two ended their relationship. According to her, they broke up because the management of ABS-CBN was not in favor of their romance.
Then, John Lloyd got into a relationship with Shaina Magdayao.
The two are now happy in their respective love life.

Ruffa is rumored over a romantic relationship with her former House Arrest of Us co-star, Herbert Bautista while John Lloyd is being linked to artist Isabel Santos.
