Netizens Praise PWD Delivery Rider For Working Hard Despite Condition
A PWD delivery rider garnered praises and admiration online for working hard despite his medical condition.
Nowadays, various government agencies and business establishments are hiring Persons with Disabilities to be their employees. They just want to give PWDs a chance and opportunity to show their skills despite their incapability.
PWD employees prove that their disabilities could not hinder them to reach their goal in life and to land a stable job.
The PWD man identified as Joy Calimlim Habana of Cavite has shared his inspiring story on his social media account. The post immediately goes viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.
Habana narrated that he was still an infant when one of his legs has been amputated because of his illness. He is just using a crutch to move and walk around. His crutch serves as his leg and feet.
Two years ago, the disabled man received an electronic bike from kind-hearted individuals. He is currently working as a Grab delivery rider and uses his e-Bike to deliver the orders of his customers.
Aside from being a delivery rider, Joy is also working as a pest controller, sailor, and other side jobs. He is active in different fields of sports and even encouraged his fellow PWDs not to lose hope.
“Ayaw ko nang nabubully, kaya noon pa man, gumawa ako ng paraan para maging inspiration sa ibang tao. Huwag kayong panghinaan ng loob para lumaban sa buhay.” Habana said.
