Gerald is an actor who started out in showbiz after he joined the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother.

He later ventured into acting and starred in the phenomenal series such as Sana Maulit Muli, My Girl, Tayong Dalawa, Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, Budoy and to name a few.

He was hailed as the “Prince of Philippine Movies and Television” twice and “Most Popular Loveteam” thrice with his former on-screen partner, Kim Chiu.

During the presscon of his newest teleserye, “A Family Affair,” Gerald was asked for his opinion about cheating and giving a second chance to a cheating partner.

According to him, that situation is difficult because you’ve ruined the trust of your partner.

“You just have to earn the trust again, start from zero, hindi lang zero, negative pa ’yan, di ba? Kailangan mong patunayan uli ’yung sarili mo (du’n sa taong niloko mo),” he said.

His statement is perfect for the trending topic on social media, the shocking separation of Moira dela Torre and Jason Marvin Hernandez.

In an official statement, Jason admitted that he became unfaithful to Moira. He later apologized to the people he hurt especially his estranged wife.

Jason has been receiving massive criticism due to cheating and the same thing happened to Gerald when he and Bea Alonzo broke up in 2019.

At the time, Julia Barretto was rumored as the third party in their breakup. Bea even accused her ex-boyfriend of ghosting her.

Meanwhile, A Family Affair starring Gerald Anderson, Ivana Alawi, Sam Milby, Jake Ejercito, and Jameson Blake will air on different platforms of ABS-CBN.
