Here’s the message of Ivana Alawi to her “A Family Affair” leading men
IVANA ALAWI – The actress-model lauded her fellow “A Family Affair” star Gerald Anderson for being “maalaga.”
Ivana whose real name is Mariam Sayed Sameer Marbella Al-Alaw is a half-Filipina, half-Morrocan actress, model, and YouTuber.
Her showbiz career started when she joined the sixth season of GMA-7’s StarStruck.
In 2018, she transferred to ABS-CBN. Her first project in the Kapamilya Network is via Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Gabi.
Then, she appeared in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano wherein she played the role of Amor.
She also starred in Sino ang Maysala?: Mea Culpa, where she bagged the Best New Female Personality in the 33rd PMPC Star Awards for Television.
She is popular on the video-sharing platform, YouTube wherein she has over 15 million subscribers.
On the other hand, Gerald is an actor who started out in showbiz after he joined the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother.
He later ventured into acting and starred in the phenomenal series such as Sana Maulit Muli, My Girl, Tayong Dalawa, Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, Budoy and to name a few.
He was hailed as the “Prince of Philippine Movies and Television” twice and “Most Popular Loveteam” thrice with his former on-screen partner, Kim Chiu.
Meanwhile, the two stars in the upcoming series, A Family Affair which also stars Sam Milby, Jake Ejercito, and Jameson Blake.
In an interview, Ivana praised her leading men.
She even lauded Gerald for being “maalaga.”
