The Ayala-led financial technology company earlier launched pet insurance catering to dog owners, but the service will soon be available for cats.

GCash Head of New Business Neil Trinidad said that with GCash’s Pet Insure under the GInsure marketplace, pets can get up to PHP 100,000 medical reimbursement, burial assistance, or owner’s protection or owner’s liability when legal liabilities are incurred because of a pet’s action.

With GInsure, Trinidad said that they aimed to make insurance relevant to the Filipino people and the only way they can build relevance is by being relevant to their evolving needs and lifestyles.
