Here’s the reaction of Catriona Gray to the love scene of Sam Milby and Ivana Alawi in “A Family Affair”
SAM MILBY – The actor shared how his girlfriend Catriona Gray reacted to his intense love scene with Ivana Alawi in “A Family Affair.”
Sam was born and raised in Ohia by his Filipina mom and American dad.
In 2005, he went to the Philippines to pursue a career in show business and modeling.
He landed bit roles in some ads before obtaining a lead role in Close Up’s TV commercial with Barbie Almalbis.
Then, he joined the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) which paved his way to be later recognized as one of the most popular celebrities in the country.
His first major film debut was Close to You starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.
On the other hand, Ivana whose real name is Mariam Sayed Sameer Marbella Al-Alaw is a half-Filipina, half-Morrocan actress, model, and YouTuber.
Her showbiz career started when she joined the sixth season of GMA-7’s StarStruck.
In 2018, she transferred to ABS-CBN. Her first project in the Kapamilya Network is via Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Gabi.
Then, she appeared in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano wherein she played the role of Amor.
She also starred in Sino ang Maysala?: Mea Culpa, where she bagged the Best New Female Personality in the 33rd PMPC Star Awards for Television.
She is popular on the video-sharing platform, YouTube wherein she has over 15 million subscribers.
The two will star in the upcoming Kapamilya drama series “A Family Affair” along with Gerald Anderson, Jake Ejercito and Jameson Blake.
In the series, Sam and Ivana’s characters will have an intimate scene.
When asked if his girlfriend Catriona Gray got jealous of Ivana because of their love scenes, he said: “Kahit hindi siya actress, we had a few talks and she’s very, very understanding. I think that’s hard to find, you know, obviously with someone that’s not in the business.”
“Just having that understanding na trabaho ko ito, and that the trust is there. Hindi siya selosa. I’m thankful that I have someone like that,” he added.
