Robredo is running for president alongside her running mate Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.

They will go against the tandem of former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Sen. Manny Pacquiao and Buhay party list Representative Lito Atienza, Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Sen. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

A lot of renowned personalities and ordinary citizens have volunteered to support Robredo.

But in a viral video, the volunteers of the presidential aspirant were allegedly blocked from holding a poll watchers orientation in Samar town.

Apparently, the barangay chief of Boblaran village in Zumarraga, Samar barred local volunteers of Robredo from entering the area to hold a poll watchers orientation.

Barangay captain Nelson Rapanan allegedly told the volunteers to go home. He even told them that they don’t have the right to decide since he’s the chairman.

At the end of the video, the barangay captain can be seen instructing the people at the entrance of the village not to allow the volunteers to enter while walking away.

Watch the video below:

One of the volunteers named Gavina Doblon told Rappler they were supposed to conduct their orientation at a house owned by a Robredo supporter in Boblaran village.

However, the village chief warned them that something bad might happen if they insisted on entering.

Apparently, it was not clear what Rapanan meant at the time.
