Piolo Pascual Joins Leni-Kiko Grand Rally in Naga
PIOLO PASCUAL – The actor-singer shared a hug with Vice President Leni Robredo on stage during the send-off grand rally held in Naga City.
Today is the last day of the campaign period for the May 2022 Elections. Most presidential and vice-presidential bets, together with their senate slate, are set to hold a huge event and spend the last hours of the campaign period with their volunteers and supporters.
According to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), there are 10 presidential candidates that remain on the official ballot for the May 2022 Elections. One of the presidential bets is Vice Pres. Leni Robredo.
Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and her running-mate, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, have visited a lot of provinces in the Philippines to campaign. Grand rallies were held in most provinces they visited and several supporters and volunteers took part in the preparations. The rallies gathered thousands of people.
Some supporters and volunteers including several celebrities in the Philippine showbiz and music industries also did house-to-house campaigns for the Leni-Kiko tandem.
Many celebrities under the Kapuso and Kapamilya networks also joined the Leni-Kiko grand rallies and offered performances to show support for the tandem. One of those who joined the recent grand rally is actor Piolo Pascual.
Endorsing the Leni-Kiko tandem on stage, Piolo revealed that it is his first time to join a grand rally because he wants to stand for what is right and true and to stand for an honest election for all the Filipinos.
“Ito na po ang pagkakataon sana po maibigay po natin sa ating bansa… Ang tamang presidente ng Pilipinas, Leni Robredo… Lahat po tayo dito walang bayad, lahat po tayo dito ginagawa natin ito para sating bayan... Para po sa magandang kinabukasan ng Pilipinas ang ating president, [crowd responded ‘Leni Robredo” at ang bise-presidenta [crowed responded ‘Kiko Pangilinan’], the actor said.
After speaking to the people, Piolo Pascual sang “Hawak Kamay” with the crowd. He shared a hug with Vice Pres. Leni Robredo on stage after singing. Here’s a video posted by Inquirer on Facebook:
