Sen. Kiko Pangilinan Speaks on Not Being Endorsed by Some Actors, Actresses

KIKO PANGILINAN – The Senator spoke his side on not being endorsed by some of the showbiz stars supporting Vice President Leni Robredo.

The May 2022 Elections is fast-approaching. Currently, the candidates are on double-time as the end of their 90-day campaign period is drawing near, too. Campaign rallies are taking place left and right.

Recently, a grand rally that gathered a lot of people supporting the Leni-Kiko tandem took place in Pasay City. It was held in time for the 57th birthday of Vice President Leni Robredo.

Several celebrities including the big stars in showbiz joined the campaign rally. One of them is Kapamilya star Vice Ganda who raised the hand of Vice Pres. Robredo.

However, what did not skip the attention of a lot of people was that Vice Ganda did not endorse Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, the running-mate of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo. Some of the supporters of the tandem chanted “Isama si Kiko”. It gathered different reactions from the people.

Meanwhile, the Unkabogable Star had a handshake with the Senator and he also invited him to join them in the picture-taking.

Recently, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan spoke about not being endorsed by some showbiz stars supporting Vice Pres. Leni Robredo. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Vice-Presidential Candidate expressed that he was not anymore surprised saying it is part of the dynamics of politics. He stressed his understanding of situations like such stressing that it should be respected.

According to Sen. Pangilinan, it is part of democracy and what is important for him is that Vice Pres. Robredo gets the support. It is already a “victory” for him.

“Kasama ‘yan eh. Sabi ko nga demokrasya tayo, so respetuhin natin… Sa akin basta importante si VP Leni sinusuportahan… Victory na rin ‘yun kesa naman iba suportahan. Sa akin OK lang ‘yun,” he said.
