Pacquiao ran for president along with his running mate, Lito Atienza.

However, he failed to covet the presidential post after losing to Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. who’s still leading the race.

But according to Iloilo City councilor-elect Plaridel Nava, Pacquiao is yet to pay the poll watchers in Iloilo.

In a Facebook post, Nava explained that Pacquiao who ran for president under Promdi Party is yet to give the payment to poll watchers.

Nava said they fell victim to “budol” after Pacquiao promised to allocate funds for poll watchers.

“Pacquiao did not send us a single centavo. That’s the truth. Please disabuse your minds. I understand that when Pacquiao came here in Iloilo City, he made a promise to all candidates in Region VI under Promdi Party that he would provide funds for watchers, legal team and “sa mga tao ninyo,” he said.

“The funds never came. So don’t ever thing that Atty. Dan [Cartagena] and I pocketed anything from Pacquiao,” he added.

According to him, Pacquiao is not answering his calls.

He also revealed that the presidential candidate even owes money to him after paying the poll watchers in the meantime.

The camp of Manny Pacquiao has yet to issue any statement on accusations against him.

Pacquiao placed third in the recent elections and has earned over 3 million votes.
