Maja Salvador shared how she handles the career of big stars
Actress-dancer and now talent manager Maja Salvador talked about her role as a manager of A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz and popular actresses Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Miles Ocampo.
The three celebrities are the aces of Maja’s talent management company, the Crown Artist Management that she established with her fiance Rambo Nunez. Currently, they are handling the careers of 17 artists.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Maja said that in the case of John Lloyd, Jasmine, and Miles, they really make sure that the artists know about the projects being presented to them.
“We always listen to what the artists want with their careers. With these three, it’s not just the execom members who are talking. We make sure to discuss everything with them. And because we’re good friends with them, work doesn’t feel like work.” Maja Salvador shared.
The Eat Bulaga Dabarkad said that they respect these three artists because they have spent many years already in the Philippine entertainment industry and their talent management firm is just a newbie in this field.
On the other hand, Maja said that they are looking forward to achieving the growth that their company is aiming for. She also said that they want to concentrate on their 17 artists, for now. It is because, for her, it is much better to set aside having many auditions when they can’t assure that everyone can be accommodated.
“We don’t just accommodate actors. We also have influencers and photographers, among others. A lot of people are making their names on social media,” Maja Salvador said.
When it comes to choosing her own projects, Maja said that she let Mikki Gonzales, one of the executives of CAM, decide what is best for her.
