Julia Montes Show Handwritten Letters She Received From Susan Roces
JULIA MONTES – Kapamilya actress Julia Montes showed the handwritten letters she received from late veteran actress Susan Roces.
Jesusa Purificacion Levy Sonora-Poe, better known by her screen name Susan Roces, is a Pinay actress and producer. She’s the wife of the late Philippine King of Movies Fernando Poe Jr.
The veteran actress was also dubbed the “Queen of Philippine Movies” and has made over 130 films. Susan died on Friday night. She was 80 years old.
Susan Roces was last seen in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (FPJAP) where she plays Lola Flora who is the grandmother of Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin). The Kapamilya network has issued a statement saying that the actress has instilled the values of love, faith, and hope with her portrayal in FPJAP for many years.
The network also said the veteran actress was “an exemplary icon” who was a source of strength and inspiration as she served the Filipino people. In a previous article, broadcaster, and senator-elect Raffy Tulfo urged President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to honor the passing of the actress by declaring her burial day a “national day of mourning.”

Even Julia Montes mourns the passing of Susan Roces. In her Instagram post, she showed the handwritten letters she received from the veteran actress. The two worked together on the show ‘Walang Hanggan’ too, before FPJAP.
Julia said, she will never forget her stories and advice on life and love life. She was also given a CD of the song “Greatest Love of All” and told not to forget the song.
On Saturday, Susan Roces’ daughter Senator Grace Poe announced that the wake of the actress would be open to the public starting Sunday, May 22, until Tuesday, May 24, from 10 am until 10 pm. It will be held at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City.
