Sharon Cuneta is now part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano
SHARON CUNETA – The Megastar is set to join the cast of top-rating ABS-CBN series, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
The showbiz veteran was introduced as the latest addition to the long-running series on Tuesday, November 9.
She was welcomed to the show by ABS-CBN COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, TV production head Laurenti Dyogi, Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal, and FPJAP star, director, and creative director Coco Martin.
It was just last week when speculations surfaced that the multi-awarded actress might be joining the star-studded cast of Ang Probinsyano.
This, after Dreamscape, released a teaser on its social media pages about the “Mega” addition to the action series.
Last Thursday, November 4, it also released a teaser clip with regards to the arrival of “the one and only star” on the said show.
Throughout the years, Sharon Cuneta has garnered numerous “Best Actress” awards and 23 nominations as an actress from notable Filipino award-giving bodies.
Her addition to Ang Probinsyano, marks her first teleserye as a Kapamilya artist.
Although she has been hosting several shows on ABS-CBN, she’s yet to star in any of the teleseryes of the said network.
The series which is a TV adaptation of Fernando Poe Jr.’s 1997 movie reached a milestone after turning six (6) years last September 28.
It started airing in 2015 and has been the network’s consistent No. 1 TV series.
Ang Probinsyano also airs online via Kapamilya Online Live on Facebook and YouTube as well as worldwide through The Filipino Channel and Netflix.
