Netizens React to Hipon Girl TikTok Video W/ Fellow Bb. Pilipinas Candidates
HIPON GIRL – Kapuso star Herlene ‘Hipon Girl’ Budol’s TikTok video where she and her fellow Binibining Pilipinas 2022 candidates dub of lines from song “Lakas Tama” by Mike Kosa ft. Ayeeman elicited reactions from netizens.
Hipon Girl is an actress and host of the now-defunct GMA-7 show “Wowowin.” She continues to stun the online community as she starts her journey as a beauty queen.
The 22-year-old celebrity is one of the official candidates for the Bb. Pilipinas pageant. After making it to the top 40, the video of her confronting Miss Manila 2020 Alexa Abdon resurfaced on social media.
In the viral video, Alexa Abdon said Hipon Girl does not have the right to become a beauty queen. She also called her “iskwater” and “squammy.” Abdon later revealed that it was scripted after receiving harsh comments from netizens.
In a previous article, the Kapuso star penned a lengthy statement describing what she felt after seeing her Bb. Pilipinas glam shot portrait at an exhibit at Gateway Araneta. She said it was only her dream to join the prestigious pageant but not it has come true. She also said that she’s honored to represent her hometown, Angono, Rizal.

Hipon Girl recently delighted her fans with a TikTok video showing her and her fellow candidates. In the said video, she was doing dub lines from the song “Lakas Tama” by Mike Kosa ft. Ayeeman.
Behind her, other Bb. Pilipinas candidates showed some moves. It came with a caption, “Yung buong Binibini Sisterakas ko indi KJ at lahat sila nag join sa Tiktok ko! Happy Happy lang!”
