Herlene Budol will join Binibining Pilipinas?
HERLENE BUDOL – The Wowowin host who rose to fame as Hipon Girl revealed that she will be joining Binibining Pilipinas.
The host-turned-vlogger revealed this in an interview with Karen Davila.
According to her, she was motivated by her manager Wilbert Tolentino to join the beauty pageant.
She added that she feels nervous about joining the highly-coveted pageant.
But she’s presently undergoing training to become ready for this endeavor though some people criticize her for her plan to join the beauty contest.
On the other hand, Herlene Budol stressed that she will be joining the Binibining Pilipinas to prove something to herself and not to other people.
During her interview with Karen, she shared that will be finishing her degree in Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management this year.
Herlene Budol also known as “Hipon Girl” rose to fame when she joined Wowowin’s segment called Willie of Fortune.
Willie Revillame, later on, decided to make her a regular host of his show because of her talent and funny jokes.
Aside from hosting, she also ventured into acting.
In 2020, she made headlines following her exchange of words with Miss Universe Manila Alexandra Abdon. Eventually, they were able to settle their rift.
It can be recalled that after her interview with Toni Gonzaga via her YouTube show, ToniTalks, many were touched by her story and pledged support to her. She even had a shopping spree with Alex.
Currently, she is an active vlogger on YouTube with 1.7 million subscribers.
