Recently, the Wowowin host revealed that she will star in the upcoming episode of Wish Ko Lang.

During her virtual presscon, Hipon Girl revealed the reason why she accepted the offer despite the threat of the dreaded virus.

“Laban lang kasi wala na kaming makain. Baka hindi ako mamatay sa COVID, mamatay ako sa gutom,” she said.

According to her interview which was also reported by PEP.ph, there’s no assurance when she could possibly return to Wowowin.

“Wala po akong trabaho. Gusto ko din [makabalik] siyempre. Wala naman din akong ibang pinagkakakitaan,” she said.

At the moment, Hipon Girl is selling lip tint online to make a profit while there are no other TV projects coming.

From being a contestant in the Wowowin segment “Willie of Fortune” in 2019, Herlene was hired as Willie’s regular co-host on his game show.

Because of her entertaining character, Willie’s show became trending on social media for many times.

Hipon Girl debuted acting via a trending episode in the Kapuso drama anthology, Magpakailanman in November 2019.

Meanwhile, in her episode on Wish Ko Lang!, Herlene will be joined by other Kapuso stars Arra San Agustin, Thea Tolentino, and Juancho Trivino. Their episode will air on September 19.
