HENRY FLORIDA – The mayor of Allacapan in Cagayan took to social media wherein he shared that he’s still waiting for the help promised by presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo way back in 2020.

Recently, Florida went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he reposted a 2020 post wherein the presidential candidate promised to help them with their situation amid the devastation of Typhoon Ulysses.

His post was accompanied by the caption: “Ma’am Leni, nasan na po?? Follow up please.”

His post was flooded with queries asking for “resibo” to prove that the vice president made a promise to him.

He later posted some “resibo”.

Based on his post, it was on November 15, 2020, when he got the chance to talk to Vice President Leni Robredo at the Tuguegarao airport.

Florida, who introduced himself to Robredo as mayor of Allacapan shared about their situation at the time, and the vice president promised to give them help.

According to him, Robredo told one of her staff to get his number to discuss the help they need.

Apparently, no action was taken or help delivered after their conversation.

His post is currently making rounds online garnering mixed reactions from the netizens.

Robredo has yet to issue any statement regarding the claims of the mayor in Cagayan.

Meanwhile, Robredo is gearing up for the highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 election. Together with her runningmate, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, they will go against the tandem of; former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
