Frank hails from Paoay, Ilocos Norte.

In order to support his college education, he works as a tricycle driver on the side.

A tricycle or usually called a trike is a human-powered (or gasoline or electric motor powered or assisted, or gravity-powered) three-wheeled vehicle.

As the eldest, Frank had to persevere to support his family.

His father is a farmer while his mom is a housewife.

In an interview, he shared that when he was working as a tricycle driver before, there were times that his earnings is not enough, forcing him to go on trips even until dawn.

He even slept at a convenience store while waiting for his passengers from Manila.

He gives a portion of his income to his parents to help with their daily needs.

His inspiration so that he could reach his goals and ambitions in life despite the difficulties he needs to endure was his family.

“Naiiyak ako kasi ang mga sakripisyo ay mapapalitan na. Talagang may magandang plano ang Diyos sa atin na kahit mahirap ay kinaya,” he said.

Aside from that, Frank was able to finish his studies with the help of a government initiative called 4Ps or Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, which offers “conditional cash incentives” for those in need.

Indeed, poverty is not a hindrance to becoming successful in life.
