According to Sen. Pacquiao during a Christian fellowship at the Great Vision Church in Mandurriao, Iloilo City, even Deputy Speaker Lito Atienza wants Senate Pres. Tito Sotto to replace his spot in case he will not be able to continue the vice-presidential race.

Meanwhile, Sen. Pacquiao stressed that Rep. Atienza remains his vice-presidential bet unless he quits from the race. He is confident that the former Manila Mayor will recover and be back in their campaign sorties.

Based on the report, for his part, Senate Pres. Tito Sotto expressed his appreciation for being considered to be the VP bet of Sen. Manny Pacquiao if Deputy Speaker Lito Atienza quits the vice-presidential race.

“I am humbled and will certainly appreciate such a move. Lito Atienza has, is, and will always be a true statement,” Senate Pres. Sotto said.
