Here’s the latest update in the theft of the mother of Nadia Montenegro
NADIA MONTENEGRO – One of the suspects in the theft of the wallet of the actress’s mom is now in police custody.
It was just recently when the actress went to a Facebook live wherein she narrated the theft involving her mom.
According to her, her mom went shopping at a membership shopping store in Novaliches.
Unfortunately, her mom’s wallet was stolen by seven men and in three minutes, they took the money from her ATM cards.
Nadia’s mother allegedly did not expect that the money from her two ATM cards will be withdrawn quickly.
At least $1,700 was taken from her dollar bank account while the suspects took P50,000 from her BDO account.
The seven men who stole her mom’s money fled from the membership shopping store immediately.
They even called the bank about her accounts and they were told that all her money was taken by the seven men.
The FB live of Nadia Montenegro was interrupted when the police officers arrived at the shopping store to investigate.
Meanwhile, one of the suspects who stole the wallet of Nadia Montenegro’s mom is now in police custody.
Romeo Miranda, the suspect, personally went to the Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (QCPD-CIDG) in Camp Karingal.
Miranda allegedly served as the driver of the group that robbed the mother of Montenegro.
Pursuit operations are ongoing against seven more suspects.
