After figuring in an accident, the son of Korina Sanchez sustained bruise on his face
KORINA SANCHEZ – The son of the veteran broadcast journalist sustained a bruise on his face after an accident.
Recently, she went to the image-sharing platform, Instagram wherein she shared what happened to Pepe, one-half of her twins with husband Mar Roxas.
According to her, Pepe sustained a bruise on his face after he bumped his face on the steps of the pool while swimming.
Korina Sanchez is a renowned broadcast journalist, television news anchor, senior field correspondent, magazine show host, radio anchor, and newspaper columnist.
She’s married to Mar Roxas and has two kids namely Pepe and Pilar who were born via gestational surrogacy in the United States.
In 2013, Sanchez drew flak among netizens due to her remarks on her now-defunct DZMM radio show Rated Korina on Anderson Cooper’s reporting for Tacloban.
On December 3, 2014 newscast of ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol, Sanchez said she hoped Typhoon Hagupit would hit Japan instead of the Philippines.
Following the non-renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise, she transferred to TV5 Network after signing with Brightlight Productions.
On the other hand, her husband Mar Roxas once served as Department of Interior and Local Government secretary.
Before, he ran in three national elections but unfortunately, he lost.
In 2010, Makati City Mayor Jejormar Binay defeated him in the vice-presidential race.
In 2016, Mar ran for the presidency but was defeated by then Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
In the 2019 elections, he eyed a senatorial slot but was not lucky enough to make it into the Top 12.
