But a basher criticized her by calling her, “Yolanda” and “trying hard.” To which Korina responded: “nong koneksyon? Laos ka beh.”

The “Yolanda” referred to by the basher is the super typhoon that hit the Philippines in 2013, which devastated Tacloban and many parts of the Visayas.

At the time, Korina’s husband Mar Roxas was the Department of Interior the Local Government (DILG) secretary was in charge of the rehabilitation program.

This is not the first time Korina engaged with her bashers. She was even dubbed as “bruha-slayer” for calling all her bashers, “bruha.”
