Mumurahin?! Here’s the response of Korina Sanchez on basher criticizing her free slippers campaign
KORINA SANCHEZ – The veteran broadcaster couldn’t help but react to a basher who insinuated that her free slippers are “mumurahin.”
She has been doing this advocacy for a long time since her program Rated K aired on ABS-CBN.
Even though her show titled Rated Korina is already on TV5 and A2Z Channel, the broadcaster is still continuing the advocacy she started.
Last Thursday, July 1, Korina shared how they distributed slippers to about 150 children in Malolos, Bulacan.
She said, “I saw the child running on the hot pavement barefoot, andumi ng paa, parang hindi napapaso ang talampakan. Pero nakatawa parin.”
Korina also called on people who have generous hearts to donate slippers for the unfortunate children.
In the comments section, almost all of the commenters praised Korina’s project.
It is said that it helps many children whose parents cannot afford to buy even slippers.
But a basher who seemed unhappy with Korina’s aspiration to help poor children.
According to the basher, the slippers distributed by the broadcaster are “mumurahin.”
The basher commented: “Bakit puro mumurahin tsinelas lang binibigay hindi ba pwedeng maayos at matibay na sapatos yun tatagal gamitin. Magbibigay din lang kayo yun mapapakinabangan at pangmatagalan na.”
To which she responded: “Kapal mo. Gumastos ka nga para sa Milyon Milyon bata?”
