Is it true that Kiko Estrada don’t want to work with Dawn Chang in Darna: The TV Series?

DAWN CHANG – The Kapamilya actress-dancer is currently being rumored as the reason why Kiko Estrada left Darna: The TV Series.

It was in October last year when Kiko was announced that he is going to star in the said series.

But last month, Kiko decided to drop his role. Then, Paolo was chosen to take over his role.

His departure was swirled with criticism. Some claimed that he has an attitude problem.

There were Darna stars tagged as the reason as to why he left the series.

Recently, his insecurity with Joshua Garcia has cited the possible reason why he left the project which is now on the second cycle of lockin taping.

But according to some netizens as per the article of Bandera, he doesn’t want to work with Dawn Chang.

A netizen with handle name @Marvin Reyes, said: “Ayaw niya talaga makatrabaho si Dawn Chang.”

On the other hand, @Mar Yam Aguilar, noted: “Nandun na kasi si Dawn Chang kaya umalis na.”

Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series is set to kick off this year.

It stars Jane de Leon as Darna/Narda Custodio, Janella Salvador as Valentina, Joshua Garcia as Brian Samonte Robles, a policeman and Narda’s love interest, and Zaijan Jaranilla as Ricardo “Ding” Custodio, Narda’s brother and sidekick.

Aside from them also joining the series are Rio Locsin as Roberta Ferrer-Custodio, Paolo Gumabao as Noah Ballesteros and Iza Calzado as Leonor Custodio, a “prime warrior” from Planet Marte and the mother of Ding and Darna’s human alter ego Narda. She is the “first Darna” who will pass on her magical stone to her daughter Narda.

The Darna role was originally offered to actress Liza Soberano. However, due to circumstances, it was given to Jane de Leon.
