Cristy Fermin reacted to the recent issue about Willie Revillame
Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin shared the conversation that she had with veteran game show host Willie Revillame about rumors saying that he regretted his decision to leave the Kapuso network.
In February, Willie shared that his show Wowowin will no longer air on GMA. Out of “delicadeza”, he said that he did not renew his contract with the Kapuso network as he was already negotiating with the Advanced Media Broadcasting System of Manny Villar.
A recent rumor against the veteran host surfaced. It was alleged that he is already asking his former boss to take him back. However, in a recent episode of his game show, Willie Revillame slammed the “fake news.”
He stressed that there is no truth to the allegation that he regretted his decision to leave GMA, the home of his program for almost seven years.
Cristy Fermin also reacted to the allegation against the veteran host. In the recent episode of her Showbiz Now Na YouTube show, she shared that when this rumor surfaced, she immediately called Willie.
“E, napaka-busy na nga niya ngayon nasa YouTube na siya at FB. Itinutuluy-tuloy na po niya ang kanyang pangako na itutuloy niya ang pagbibigay ng ayuda sa ating mga kababayan,” Cristy said debunking the rumor.
She also shared that Willie said that he will forever be grateful to GMA and that he still has communication with the people who are working in the Kapuso network.
“Nagbabalitaan sila. Pero yung pagbabalik sa GMA-7, wala sa bokabularyo niya,” the veteran showbiz reporter said. She also said that Willie was really surprised when the rumors surfaced and wondered where this came from.
“Ano to laro? Hindi nga ako pumirma ng bagong kontrata tapos babalik din pala ako, dahil mali ang desisyon ko, pinag-isipan kong mabuti yun,” Cristy Fermin shared what Willie Revillame said.
