Moreno and Ong are gearing up for the top posts in the government ahead of the May 9 elections.

They will go against the tandem of former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay Partylist Representative Lito Atienza, as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

Previously, Moreno whose real name is Francisco Domagoso went to Mindanao for his campaign, leaving Doc Willie Ong. Apparently, some groups there are rooting for Moreno and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

In fact, there were tarpaulins of the two placed almost anywhere.

But in the “Ratatat” segment of Politiskoop, the Samira Gutok of Aksyon Demokratiko was asked who will she choose between Ong and the presidential daughter.

“Willie Ong syempre, my party mate,” she said. “I understand Sara is my co-Mindanaoan, marami kaming relations because of her Muslims roots, pero may party tayo ngayon, it’s elections.”

She stressed that she respect Doc Willie Ong.

Meanwhile, Lito Banayo, the campaign manager of Isko Moreno admitted that he was the one who decided not to bring Ong to their sortie in Mindanao.

Banayo stressed that he doesn’t want to put Ong in an embarrassing situation that’s why he decided not to include him in the campaign.

To recall, Doc Willie Ong made headlines after he admitted that he was hurt by the pairing of Isko Moreno and Sara Duterte.

“Siyempre na-hurt ako. Masakit yun,” he said when asked about it.
