Pia Wurtzbach mentioned her boyfriend and her leading man in a recent interview
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach revealed that common thing between her boyfriend Beautiful Destinations CEO Jeremy Jauncey and her My Papa Pi leading man Piolo Pascual.
Pia is making her television comeback through a sitcom with Piolo and Pepe Herrera. The last project that they had together was the sitcom Bora in 2005 in which Pia played the cousin of Piolo’s character.
Pia’s last teleserye project was in 2012. She played the character of a jellyfish in the fantasy-drama series Aryana. She said that this new project with Piolo is a good way to have her TV come back, based on the article in Inquirer.net.
“I also didn’t expect to be given projects just because I’m Miss Universe. I really think that projects like this are given to you because you deserve them and you’ve proven your worth as an artist,” Pia Wurtzbach shared.
She also shared that she is happy that the cast members in this project were all handpicked. “This is also a great opportunity to work with Direk Cathy again,” she added.
Pia had the chance to work with the prominent director in the movie My Perfect You with Gerald Anderson. When asked if Jauncey would feel “threatened” by her leading man, she said that she did not ask the permission of her boyfriend but she told him about this.
“He knows who Piolo is because I talk to him a lot about my work in show biz, especially my beginnings in ABS-CBN,” the third Pinay Miss Universe said. Pia also shared that Jeremy asked about popular actors in the Philippines and Piolo was one of the actors she mentioned.
Then, Pia Wurtzbach said that she thinks that Jeremy and Piolo will get along well because there is something common between them. “They both like to work out, so maybe when they get to hang out, they can work out together,” she said.
