Mayor Isko Moreno Reveals Stand on Removal of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s Posters

ISKO MORENO – The presidential candidate and incumbent Manila Mayor believes that the removal of the posters of Vice President Leni Robredo is wrong and unfair.

The campaign period for the upcoming May 2022 Election has officially started and the presidential candidates are now visiting the different cities and provinces in the country.

After having his proclamation in Manila, Mayor Isko Moreno recently visited several areas including La Union which he admitted is a bailiwick of his presidential contender, former Senator Bongbong Marcos.

Meanwhile, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Manila Mayor stressed that he will go to the Filipinos whether or not it is his bailiwick. He had a motorcade in La Union during noontime and some of his supporters greeted him on the road.

According to Mayor Isko, he will also visit Ilocos Norte although it is a bailiwick of the Marcoses. He jested that there is no need for a passport and visa in going to the province.

When asked why Ilocanos should vote for him, the Manila Mayor expressed that they have already given chances to the red and yellow teams and if they are tired, they can give him a chance. He stressed that he is applying for a job.

Mayor Isko Moreno was also asked about his stand on the removal of the posters of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo in private areas by some poll authorities. Based on the report, the Manila Mayor believes it was wrong and unfair on the part of the Vice President.

“Kawawa naman si Vice Pres. Leni Robredo kung tatanggalin mo iyong poster niya sa mga private property. Unfair iyon kay VP Leni,” he said.

Despite the recent survey results where he landed on the 3rd spot, Mayor Isko is not losing hope as he stressed that there are still around 80 days to campaign. The Aksyon Demokratiko standard-bearer stressed that many voters are changing their presidential bets to him.
