Pastor Quiboloy Scheduled for Trial in the US in 2023

PASTOR APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) is scheduled for trial along with his church associates on March 21, 2023.

The Davao City-based preacher and his associates are set for trial over their November 2021 indictment.

Quiboloy and his co-defendants namely Felina Salinas, Guia Cabactulan, Marissa Duenas, Amanda Estopare, Bettina Padilla Roces, Maria De Leon, and two others are facing various charges such as s*x trafficking by force, fraud and coercion, s*x trafficking of children, marriage fraud, fraud and misuse of visas, bulk cash smuggling, promotional money laundering, concealment of money laundering, and international promotional money laundering.

Thom Mrozek, director of media relations of the US Attorney’s Office in the Central District of California (Los Angeles), said: “The trial for those defendants is currently scheduled for March 21, 2023.”

If Quiboloy and his eight associates were convicted for s*x trafficking conspiracy, they could end up with life imprisonment in the US.

Meanwhile, it was just recently when the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released wanted posters of Quiboloy along with the two officials of KOJC; Helen Panilag, and Teresita Tolibas Dandan.

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is a pastor of the Philippines-based Restorationist church called the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

He has made claims that he is “The Appointed Son of God” as well as being “The Owner of the Universe.”

Quiboloy was a member of the United Pentecostal Church, a Oneness Pentecostal denomination until he established the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

The members of the congregation refer to their community as a “Kingdom Nation.” They claim about 2 million “Kingdom citizens” abroad and 4 million in the Philippines.

His ministry has a global television channel, the Sonshine Media Network International, and 17 radio stations in the Philippines. It also has two newspapers, Pinas and Sikat.
