Glaiza De Castro married her non-showbiz fiancé.
GLAIZA DE CASTRO — The Kapuso actress recently revealed that she and her non-showbiz fiance David Rainey tied the knot in 2021.
In an exclusive feature of “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” last February 13, Glaiza revealed that she married her Irish fiancé during her last vacation in Europe in 2021.
Glaiza and David tied the knot in an intimate Celtic wedding held on a cliff in Northern Ireland in the United Kingdom last October 12, 2021. It was attended by the latter’s immediate family.
Part of the couple’s Celtic blessing ceremony was “handfasting”, an ancient Celtic ritual in which the hands of the groom and bride were tied symbolizing their union as husband and wife.

Aside from Glaiza’s announcement, she and her now-husband shared a wedding video as they officially launched their joint YouTube channel. Also on the video were clips of the two of them together.
As of this writing, the said channel has 585 subscribers and the video reached more than 3,000 views since it premiered.
To recall, it was last September 2021 when the Kapuso actress flew to Europe to be with David after several months of not meeting each other. The couple did their prenup shoot in Spain.
Glaiza met David on a birthday trip to Siargao in January 2018. They officially became lovers in September 2018.
Last February 2019, the actress met David’s family when she went to England for the 30th birthday of her partner and his twin. David proposed to Glaiza in December 2020 when Glaiza was on vacation in David’s hometown in Donegal, Ireland.
