BBM is gearing up for the highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 election

Together with his runningmate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, they will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

Earlier, Catholic group El Shaddai endorsed BBM for the presidency.

Apparently, retired Novaliches Diocese Bishop Teodoro Bacani was not in favor of the group’s decision to support the presidential bid of the ex-senator.

In an interview with Radyo Veritas on Monday, Bacani, who is now El Shaddai’s spiritual adviser, said that the members of the group have the right not to follow the endorsement of their leader, Bro. Mike Velarde.

He added that the decision to support Marcos Jr. for the highest government position was “wrong.”

Velarde has yet to comment on what his spiritual adviser said.
