Former Sen. Bongbong Marcos Thanks Toni Gonzaga
BONGBONG MARCOS – The presidential aspirant took to social media messages of gratitude for Toni Gonzaga who hosted his campaign rally.
The campaign period for the May 2022 Election kicked off last February 8, 2022. The presidential candidates held their proclamation rally in different areas. The BBM-Sara UniTeam had their campaign rally in the Philippine Arena.
Former Senator Bongbong Marcos is the standard-bearer of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP). He tapped presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, the vice-presidential bet of Lakas-CMD, to be his running mate.
The BBM-Sara tandem is the desire of many of the supporters of the former Senator and the Davao City Mayor. He is one of the 10 candidates that remain on the official ballot for the presidential election.
The proclamation rally of former Sen. Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte for their presidential and vice-presidential bids, respectively, was hosted by actress, TV host, and singer Toni Gonzaga.
Toni undeniably received a lot of criticisms for hosting the said campaign rally. Some of her fellow celebrities and some employees of ABS-CBN Network have also expressed their disappointment over the said move of the TV host.
The name of Toni went trending on social media during the kick-off of the campaign rally for the national election. On the other side, there are also some people who showed support to her amid the criticisms.
