Toni Gonzaga unfollowed her celebrity friends on Instagram except for her sister.
TONI GONZAGA — Few hours after she announced that she’s stepping down as the main host of “Pinoy Big Brother”, the Ultimate Multimedia Star unfollowed her celebrity friends on Instagram except for her sister.
Twenty-two (22) accounts that seemed to be close to her were the only ones to be noticed in her following list — including her husband Paul Soriano, her sister Alex Gonzaga, and her sister’s husband Mikee Morada.
Alex Gonzaga was the only celebrity left in her following list on Instagram. Currently, Toni has 7 million followers on Instagram as of this writing.
Alex found some time to cheer up her sister who received a backlash after hosting the proclamation rally of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte in Bulacan last Tuesday night.
“You’re a queen forever! Nobody does it like you do sissszzz,” Alex commented on Toni’s post on Instagram on February 9.
Other celebrities who comforted Toni were beauty queen Samantha Bernardo, socialite Gretchen Barretto, stylist Lizz Uy, and actress Maja Salvador.

PBB hosts Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla and Bianca Gonzalez also commented on Toni’s post on Instagram.
Meanwhile, the PBB management released a statement on Toni’s decision to step down as the main host of the show.
According to the PBB management, the actress-host had been part of the reality show for 16 years and the management thanked her “for helping bring the stories of our housemates to our viewers”.
“We respect the decision of Toni Gonzaga-Soriano to step down as main host of ‘Pinoy Big Brother’,” the PBB management said in a statement.
