Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial talked about her role as the “other woman” in the new series The Goodbye Girl.

“In defense naman kay Kiera, gulatan din kasi yun eh. Nandun ka na akala mo may something na kayo tapos bigla kang gugulatin na may legal pala na asawa. Parang yung emotion mo nun gulong gulo. May confrontation naman yung mom and Kiera na gusto naman niya talaga na makipaghiwalay pero hindi niya lang kaya,” Barbie Imperial said about her character.

She stressed that there is nothing lovable in people who are “manloloko” but she highlighted something lovable in her character and this was the desire of Kiera to make things right in the end.

Barbie explained that she is not justifying the deeds of “other women” or “kabit” because this is wrong but for her, there are really people who do crazy things because of love.

Mali talaga yun. Pero yung ibang tao kasi talaga, pag mahal nila yung tao bulag ka talaga eh di ba? So mali pero also imagine the pain na pinagdadaanan ng tao na yun. Pero mali pa rin. At the end of the day kailangan babawi ka talaga. Itatama mo yung mali mo,” the actress said.

Barbie Imperial also said that she doesn’t want to see herself being a “kabit” because she knows the pain of the woman who is the legal partner of the man. She also acknowledges the fact that there are “other women” who have no idea that they are just mistresses.

On the other hand, Barbie Imperial said that it is not the same when the woman already knows that she is “kabit”. “Naniniwala kasi ako sa karma eh. Na kung ano yung pinaparamdam mo sa isang tao, ipaparamdam yan sa ‘yo balang araw,” she said.
