Tracy Maureez Perez, among the top 40 of Miss World 2021
TRACY MAUREEN PEREZ – The Miss World Philippines is among the Top 40 candidates who will return to San Juan, Puerto Rico for the Miss World coronation night that will take place on March 16, 2022.
This was after she was included in the list of 15 Fast Track Winners of the 70th edition of the beauty pageant.
Fast Track winners are the candidates who have earned high scores in fast track competitions such as; Beauty With a Purpose, Head to Head, Sports, Talent, Top Mode, and Multimedia.
Based on its announcement via Facebook, Maureen shined in the Beauty with A purpose and Head to Head categories.
On the other hand, 25 candidates have been dubbed “Judges Choices.”
Meanwhile, there are ninety-seven (97) official candidates who went to the canceled final show last December 16, 2021. The coronation night of the prestigious pageant did not push through due to the COVID-19 outbreak among contestants and production staff.
The Miss World organization assured in its official statement that the 57 candidates who failed to enter the Top 40 list will still be part of the live broadcast of the 70th Miss World.
The organization also shared the important dates for the remaining activities of the beauty pageant.
- March 12- Arrivals Day
- March 16- 70th Miss World Finals, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. (local)
- March 17- Beauty With A Purpose Special Event
- March 18- Contestants return to home countries
