In a recent interview, the actor said that his intense scenes with AJ Raval in their movies affected his relationship with his non-showbiz girlfriend.

Last year, the two worked together in the movies; Nerisa and Taya. Earlier this year, they starred in Hugas.

When asked about his current relationship status, he said: “Single nang dahil kay AJ. Joke lang.”

He immediately clarified “actually, totoo” while referring to AJ.

According to him, they broke up because his girlfriend got tired of understanding their situation citing both of them work in different fields.

Eventually, they decided to end their relationship.

Sean de Guzman also shared that AJ knew about his love life.

In fact, they were together when Sean’s girlfriend broke up with her.

On the other hand, it was in August last year when AJ confirmed his breakup with former Pinoy Big Brother housemate, Axel Torres.

In the mediacon of Taya at the time, AJ shared that Sean has something to do with her breakup with Axel.

One of the reasons is their misunderstanding especially with the roles of AJ in movies. Later, the daughter of Jeric Raval has chosen her career over her love life.

Meanwhile, Sean is considered the new face of Viva.

His acting career started via indie film, Lockdown alongside actor Marco Gumabao.

Then, he starred in the movie ANMD, his launching movie directed by Joel Lamangan.

It took Sean approximately five years before getting his big break in showbiz.

Before getting a role in the indie film, Lockdown, he was supposed to apply as a customer service representative of Starbucks.

Sean is the breadwinner of their family, that’s why he’s obliged to find a job.
