Here’s Alexa Ilacad’s Reaction To Edited Photo Of Her As Marimar
ALEX ILACAD – Former child star and ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ housemate Alexa Ilacad reacted to an edited photo of her as ‘Marimar.’
Filipina actress, singer, and dancer Alexa Ilacad has made appearances on Kapamilya shows. Her career has strived since she starred on the kiddie comedy gag show ‘Goin Bulilit.’
Last year, the 21-year-old celebrity tried her luck in the reality tv show “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB). She and her fellow housemate KD Estrada was evicted from the house on December 26.
Alexa Ilacad and celebrity newbie Eian Rances forged a close bond during their PBB stint. Comedian Brenda Mage said the young actors might just be doing this for the show.
The actress’ first-ever post after getting evicted from the house went viral on social media. She also shared a photo of the bouquet of flowers and a card she received from Eian. Their fans were thrilled by the intriguing message in the card.

Recently, Alexa Ilacad uploaded on her IG stories an edited photo of her as Marimar. In her caption, she could not help but gush over the edited pic made by her fan. She revealed that ‘Marimar’ is her dream role and reiterated that Marian is her idol.
“I absolutely love this edit of me as Marimar (my dream role & are Yan is my idol)” Pasado ba? hehe. thank you to whoever made this!” she wrote.
‘Marimar’ is a GMA-7 tv series that became the highest-rated show in the Philippines in 2007 and launched the showbiz career of Marian Rivera. The lead role of the show was first offered to Angel Locsin who was a GMA talent at that time but she turned it down after her transfer to Kapamilya network.
Marian was still an upcoming actress at that time and she had to beat Jennylyn Mercado, LJ Reyes, Karylle, Katrina Halili, Bianca King, Nadine Samonte, and Pauleen Luna to bag the role.
