This is how Rabiya Mateo responded to a basher
Beauty queen-turned-actress Rabiya Mateo has this reaction to a basher who said that she is “ambisyosa’ and “talunan”.
Rabiya is not new to bashing anymore. From the time she won the Miss Universe Philippines crown in 2020, she already started receiving negative comments and even until she represented the country in the most prestigious international beauty pageant in the world.
Even now that she has ventured into acting, bashers are still not stopping to express mean comments against her. Based on the article in PEP, in a recent social media post of Rabiya Mateo, a basher called her “ambisyosa” and that she does not really know how to act.
The bashers also said that the Ilongga beauty is a loser. “Minsan Beauty Queen, Minsan drama queen. Pero kadalasan ambisyosa di naman marunong umarte, talunan pa sa MU [Miss Universe]. Crying emoji,” the basher commented.
Rabiya answered this bashing with a classy reply. She even wished the basher well. “Di naman siguro masama mangarap, yung masama mangbaba ng kapwa. Medical professional ka diba? Sana maging doctor ka gaya ng pangarap mo. Keep winning in life,” she said.
Apparently, the said basher has already deleted the comment. However, there was already a receipt. In the comment section, fans and supporters of Rabiya defended her and slammed the basher. Here are some of the comments.
Rabiya Mateo plays the character of an agent in Book Two of the action-fantasy series Agimat ng Agila featuring Senator Bong Revilla. This is her first major project since she signed an exclusive contract with GMA-7 last November 2021.
Meanwhile, Rabiya is now being linked to Kapuso actor Jeric Gonzales. Their rumored romance started to circulate when they were spotted being sweet to each other. It was also speculated that the two celebrities spent the holidays together.
