Rabiya Mateo: “[I’m] single and super happy, but maybe not yet available for the meantime”
RABIYA MATEO – The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 admitted that she’s single but “not yet available.”
The beauty queen-turned-actress is ending the year “single and [very] happy” after a “rollercoaster” time.
Rabiya, a beauty queen from Iloilo had gone through several massive heartbreaks this year.
It was in June this year when Neil, a nurse, confirmed his breakup with the beauty queen after having been in a relationship for seven (7) years.
Their breakup came after her Miss Universe stint in Florida.
But previously, she was asked about their status. According to her, Neil is still her best friend.
And the other heartbreak she had is of course her upset defeat at the 69th Miss Universe. The previous edition of the highly coveted pageant was won by Mexico’s Andrea Meza.
After all, she had been through, Rabiya is happy to announce that she’s now single. However, she claimed that she’s “not yet available.”
“[I’m] single and super happy, but maybe not yet available for the meantime. Maybe it’s because I’m still enjoying the fact that I’m putting my career first, and I might not be able to do it all at once,” she said.
Meanwhile, Rabiya Mateo is currently gearing up for her showbiz career. It was just recently when she signed a contract under Kapuso Network.
She’s set to star in the Book 2 of GMA’s action drama “Agimat ng Agila” next year starring Bong Revilla.
